Service to the Community
- The Chi Epsilon Chapter’s active members
are required to perform community service activities. This
is achieved through formal and informal consultation with
local nonprofit and community based organizations. The
activities are designed to improve the quality of life for
community residents. There is a heartwarming effect that is
felt both by the giver and receiver of community service. It
promotes the unselfish giving of ones time to help strangers
in need. The goal through community service is to encourage
individuals to develop a sense of personal responsibility to
the community and nation. Community service allows everyone
to be a winner.
Fundraising Activities
- The Chi Epsilon Active Members are also
required to perform various fundraising activities during
the academic year. The money that is raised is used to
purchase stoles and tassels for active members completing
their responsibilities, pay for club activities such as the
annual Christmas Dinner, and various other activities. The
club is also planning on instituting a scholarship for the
most active member in the next academic year. The club
President and Vice President of the Chi Epsilon Chapter
coordinated fundraising activities in conjunction with the
Faculty Advisor.
