Who is the SGA?

Many have heard of the Student Government Association. However, few actually know what they stand for and what they do. The SGA is the voice of the student body; they have established vast amounts of extra-curriculum activities for the students of Southwest Tennessee Community College.

In addition to having their eyes out for their fellow students, the SGA reaches at the heart of their community. As of now they, they are currently sponsoring a Thanksgiving food drive for our adopted school, Alton Elementary. There is really no stopping the ambitions of these great people.

The SGA does have the best interest of the students and their community in mind. They have proven they will go the extra mile to provide the students, faculty, and staff of Southwest Tennessee Community College with a voice that will be heard, by providing activities to boost the social atmosphere that we all need to excel, and most importantly the protection of the “Student’s Rights”.
