Vicky Moore has been a student at Southwest for two years now. A community activist, Vicky founded Youth United With Senior Citizens, a non-profit organization that unites youth and seniors in the community. Vicky is the proud mother of three children, Faith, Stephen and Timberly. She is also the grandmother of an adorable four year old, Joshua. Vicky is not only a community activist, but she writes Christian and Inspirational poetry as well. She self-published a book in 1997 entitled Ready or Not: A Book of Christian and Inspirational Poetry. Vicky is currently majoring in Nursing here at Southwest and has worked hard thus far on the SGA. She currently serves as SGA President and works very hard to assist the students that have elected her to serve.

My major is Nursing. I was born in Florence, Alabama and graduated from Coffee High School. I have served in the United States Armed Forces for 20 years as a Health Care Specialist/Combat Medic. I enjoy meeting diverse people and helping others. My goal is to assist you, the student body and to make our college experience a more enjoyable one. Hello all of my fellow peers of Southwest Tennessee Community College. I am one of the SGA Representatives from the Union Campus. I extend my gratitude for everyone who exercised their right to vote and must express my true appreciation for those who voted for me. I am a down to earth woman with a concentrated dose of class, commitment, love, honesty and professionalism. I believe an optimistic attitude is always appropriate even when faced with negative situations and always believing in yourself even if no one else does. I am deep in ministry, sincere in serving my community, helping our youth to make morally sound decisions, and I facilitate recovery programs for veterans who have been on drugs and alcohol. I love to sing, write poetry, cook, travel, make others laugh, be creative, read, act, observe and play different types of sports. Thank you for allowing me to represent you!!!!!!!
